The rudder is easily operated with the foot pedals. With the help of the rudder, the Expedition kayak is easy to maneuver when you want to change course or in windy conditions. Rudder can be pulled up using an easily accessible string on the outside of the kayak.

There is a storage hatch with screw lock right in front of paddler. Behind the seat is another storage area where you can put your dry bag, paddle float etc.
