At Wave Passion Outlet, we stand behind the quality of our products and strive to provide the best service to our customers. Below are the details of our warranty and return policies.

  • We can locate your order with your name, contact number, or email address. If this information was not provided when placing the order, please keep your receipt for warranty purposes.
  • Our warranty covers home use only and excludes commercial use.
  • Our warranty is for the first original buyer only and not transferable.
  • You must register your new kayak or SUP for the warranty: Simply email us a photo of the serial number of your new kayak / SUP with your order number within 30 days of the purchase.
  • Please note that all warranty policies exclude clearance items, ex-demo products, used items, and factory seconds. These items come with a 30-day RTB Warranty unless stated otherwise on their product pages.
  • 10 Years RTB (Return to Base) Warranty for Kayak Hulls

    • Starting from 1st April 2023, we offer a 10 years RTB warranty for all our kayak hulls.
    • 1 Year RTB Warranty for Kayak Parts and Accessories.

    2 Years RTB Warranty Inflatable SUPs (Stand Up Paddle Boards)

    • 1 Year RTB Warranty for Parts and Accessories.

    1 Year RTB Warranty for Plastic SUPs, Fiberglass SUPs, Carbon SUPs and Foil boards.

    1 Year RTB Warranty for all other accessories by default unless stated otherwise in the product details page.

    • For all SUP pumps, we offer a 2-year warranty on the motor, while the battery is covered for 1 year, ensuring that it retains at least 80% of its original capacity within the first year. Please note that battery capacity will naturally decrease with usage over time, which is a normal occurrence.

    For used items, we will charge a restocking fee start from 20%, depending on the condition of the items we reserve the right to decline the product return.

    What's not covered by Kayak Warranty?

    • Customer misuse, normal wear and tear, scratches and dents caused by normal use are not covered by warranty.
    • Kayak Hull deformation due to improper storage or transport of the kayak is not covered, e.g. tied too tightly during transport or stored on an uneven surface with extra weight on it.
    • DIY work not carried out by Wave Passion Outlet, including drilling holes or other modifications that could stress the kayak beyond its limits, is not covered by the warranty.
    • Most of our kayaks are roto-moulded, and as a result, slight variations in color are normal. The kayak's appearance is not covered by warranty.
    • Make sure you check the kayak trolley user instruction. Damage caused by the scupper hole trolleys are not covered.

    What's not covered by SUP Warranty?

    • Customer misuse, normal wear and tear, scratches and dents caused by day to day use are not covered by warranty.
    • Please store SUPs indoors and keep out of direct sunlight. Damage caused by UV exposure to the paddle boards is not covered under warranty.
    • Paddle boards that break during high-intensity activities such as surfing are not covered under warranty.

    What happens if I have a faulty product?

    • Proof of purchase is required when making a claim. Please send us a message with your order details and describe the issue.
    • Within 7 days of purchase: We will replace it with a new one, or make a full refund if the item is no longer available.
    • Within 30 days of purchase: We will have it fixed to as new condition, or replace it with a new one if that's not possible.
    • After 30 days of purchase: We will repair the product for you, or replace it with a product in similar condition.
    • Postage is not refundable.
    • Wave Passion Outlet reserves the sole right to arbitrate all warranty claims.

    Please do not attempt any repairs yourself before contacting us for confirmation. Unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.
